Contra Pistol/Gun round strat.

Here is the strat that goes along with the b smokes I posted for contra. Requires 5 players each with smoke/flash/flash. You can do this as a gun or a pistol round.

Player A smokes bridge, gets in position to flash.

Player B and C walk up and get to the left to throw the plank smokes.

Player D and E walk up and get to the right to throw the dark room smokes.

BCDE smoke at the same time. Player a starts flashing to draw counter flashes. Player D starts flashing from bridge after player A finishes his 2 flashes. Everyone goes in afterwards except Player A who watches the flank.

Contra Lower A Smokes from CT spawn.

Here is a set of useful smokes for lower a on contra from ct spawn. Toss these then stack upper or do one of the fancy ledge boosts in lower =).

Contra Upper A Smokes

Here are two sets of smokes that really help nuetralize teams that play spawn ramp with awps(which is a whole lotta teams).

The strat I would run with this would be like:

4 going upper a halls, 2 thru sludge 2 thru upper part. 1 of the upper part players has an awp.

1 person holds back in the mid catacombs and will flank lower/get rotation kills.

The awp at upper clears it out and pushes back any aggro positions. All 4 of these players throw the smokes and flash out as a team. Get into the sludge and flash spawn ramp and push thru the double smoke. Clutch from there

Contra B Smokes

Here are two useful sets of smokes that we like to use on a slow contra b hit. Basically 1 player will smoke the b-bridge. Then 4 others will get in position to quickly throw these smokes. We all hit the site thru box room after throwing set flashes that land into site. Plank room and dark room are completely neutralized by these smokes. Plant the bomb and ez clutch from box room.

Ran this strat as our pistol round vs pandemic and they had 4 people at b and couldn’t hold it. Demo is on esea if anyone wants to see it.

Sorry for the break in posting. Tomorrow I will start back on my usual schedule of updates so check back =).

Anyways, saw Avatar in Imax 3d tonight. Special fx were pretty damn crazy. Makes transformers and all that micheal bay shit look even more retarded. You gotta see this movie in imax 3d. Otherwise its just a waste. I HATE special fx and I think most CGI looks like shit and completely breaks immersion but this was a big exception.

The story was weak tho. Dances with wolves with blue aliens instead of native Americans.

CGI – A+++++++
Everything else – C-

Dust 2 Smoke for Long from CT spawn

EDIT: finals next week, i will try and post every day but I might miss one or two depending on a few things

Here is a useful smoke your mid player can throw for your A players. Basically he throws this, rebuys really fast, and throws it again. It starts to fully plume right at t’s come out so if they are fully rushing it will NOT stop them. HOWEVER — if you are playing for retake on long these will help tremendously as it blocks the awper from covering the t’s from the retake.

These smokes are also useful if you wanna throw 2 of them and then have your A players play cat. The T’s will assume you have 2 long based off of these double smokes.
